Terms of Service

Last updated: June 22, 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of Borative, a workspace operating system for tasks, teams, planning, notes, chat, audit activity, add-ons, and account controls. By creating an account, signing in, or using Borative, you agree to these Terms.

2. Accounts and Eligibility

Users must provide accurate account information and keep login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and for ensuring that anyone invited to your workspace follows these Terms.

3. Use of the Service

Borative is provided to help individuals and teams organize work. You may use Borative only in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms. You may not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, disrupt infrastructure, upload malicious content, infringe rights, or use Borative for unlawful, harmful, or abusive activity.

4. Workspace Content

You retain ownership of content that you or your team submit to Borative, including tasks, comments, notes, uploaded images, team information, and workspace configuration. You grant Borative the limited rights needed to host, process, transmit, display, back up, and operate that content as part of providing the service.

5. Google Sign-In

Borative may allow users to authenticate with Google. Google sign-in is used for account authentication and basic profile setup. Your use of Google services remains subject to Google's own terms and policies.

6. Subscriptions and Billing

Some Borative features may require a paid plan, subscription, seats, or add-ons. Billing may be processed by Stripe or another payment provider. Prices, plan limits, renewal terms, and cancellation options may be shown at checkout, inside the account settings, or in related product pages.

7. Service Changes and Availability

We may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of Borative. We work to keep the service reliable, but we do not guarantee that Borative will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

8. Intellectual Property

Borative, including its software, design, branding, logos, product names, and documentation, is owned by Borative or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant rights to use Borative branding except as necessary to identify the service.

9. Termination

You may stop using Borative at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe an account violates these Terms, creates risk, causes harm, or is required to comply with law. After termination, some records may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Borative is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Borative will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption.

11. Privacy

The Privacy Policy explains how Borative collects, uses, stores, and protects information. By using Borative, you acknowledge the Privacy Policy.
